Degree Programs

The Rehabilitation Institute at SIUC College of Education and Human Services is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities. The mission is pursued through the teaching, research, and service activities of the Institute's faculty and staff.

Two Bachelor's degrees (Communication Disorders and Sciences and Rehabilitation Services), Four Master's degrees (Behavioral Analysis and Therapy, Communication Disorders and Sciences, Rehabilitation Administration and Services and Rehabilitation Counseling) and Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation degree are offered.

To date there are over 3,300 graduates of our academic programs. They are found in every state of this nation and on almost every continent of the world. Our graduates work in such varied settings as hospitals, schools, public agencies, human service organizations, universities and private sector.

In addition to our academic programs, the Institute currently offers several community service programs that benefit people across the life-span with different rehabilitation needs. These service programs also provide excellent opportunities for students to apply their classroom knowledge in "real world" settings.
