Dr. Davis is Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Rehabilitation Services. She received her Ph.D. in Special Education from Southern Illinois University in 1989. Prior to that she was Chief Rehabilitation Counselor at the Evaluation and Developmental Center at SIUC. Additionally, Dr. Davis was the Project Director of a federally funded grant to prepare master's level students in special education and rehabilitation to work with students with disabilities who are exiting from high school. Her primary research interests are in developmental disabilities, preference assessments, assistive technology, and staff training and management. Dr. Davis supervises Behavior Analysis and Therapy graduate students enrolled in practicum, thesis, and/or internships at facilities serving persons with mental retardation and/or traumatic brain injury.
