Dr. Darrell Taylor is an Associate Professor in the Rehabilitation Administration and Services Program at the Rehabilitation Institute, Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He earned a doctorate from the University of South Florida. Prior to coming to SIUC, he worked as a rehabilitation specialist in the private sector and as a vocational evaluator in a work hardening program serving injured workers. Dr. Taylor is the author of 35+
journal articles and 25 paper presentations. Dr. Taylor has served on the Commission on Certification of Work Adjustment and Vocational Evaluation Specialists, the Commission on Certification of Disability Management Specialists, Region V representative on the National Council on Rehabilitation Education, and the Council on
Rehabilitation Education's, Commission on Standards and Accreditation. He is Assistant Editor for the Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Journal and is a Certified Vocational Evaluator and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
